The CT-BUS is a digital telephone dialer, with built-in voice synthesis, for transmission over a PSTN telephone line of alarm and system status information. The CT-BUS can communicate either through pre-recorded voice messages or through digital protocols. It allows remote management of all wired control panels of the Defender system, to which it connects via bus. It is possible to house the dialer directly in the control panel or to remote it with optional MOD-BOX and CE64BOX containers. CT-BUS also allows the locking of electronic keys associated with a Defender system, a useful function in case of lost or stolen keys. The CT-BUS combiner can be integrated with the ESP-CT-GSM add-on module to extend its use on the GSM network as well.
