OTDR 62 (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) is the ideal tool to support the technician looking for a reliable tool for rapid diagnosis of a fiber optic installation.
In particular, it is useful for detecting faults such as:

  • Broken fibers

  • Fibers laid with excessive bending

  • Mismatched or dirty connectors

It can also perform optical measurements via the OPM function, and perform some simple but useful RJ45 tests on LAN network such as:

  • Ping a remote IP

  • Test check IP devices on the subnetwork

  • Check RJ45 cabling
